South Park, PA – Joris Daudet made the journey to South Park, Pennsylvania for the traditional 4th of July weekend National event at one of the most famous tracks in USA BMX history. This weekends Stars and Stripes National event had drawn a large collection of Pro riders, as this would be the last large National event in the USA before the Olympics, so you had some riders that are tuning up before the big show and some who did not qualify, going for the gold in PA.
Joris Daudet was the lone Chase rider to attend the event, as Connor Fields is in an extensive training camp leading up to the Games. Joris had a strong day and made his way into the main event, but there was gong to be a big challenge for the win. When the gate smelled down for the main, it was Joris out front and in the lead, and after a string lap, he took the day 1 win.
